brittle-brittle, inc. is a privately
held corporation, owned and operated by the Brown
family in Duncanville, Texas. Our company was
founded in 1988, by a father and his three sons for
the purpose of manufacturing Gourmet Candy & Snacks.
We started brittle-brittle after our father, Joe L.
Brown, discovered a very unique
Peanut Brittle Candy that was unlike any other
he had ever tasted. This brittle candy was
different, it had an incredible "Olde-Fashioned"
homemade taste-flavored with honey and a texture so
light and crunchy, so "brittle", that the name of
this new product and company seemed obvious-we
decided it should be called "brittle-brittle".
We began producing and
distributing brittle-brittle "Olde-Fashioned Hand
Dipped" Peanut Brittle ourselves to local
Convenience Stores, Supermarkets, Restaurants and
Specialty Stores. Eventually brittle-brittle could
be found in all fifty states and was sold under the
"brittle-brittle" brand or repackaged for private
labels in a variety of Wholesale Clubs and
Supermarkets. Today we offer several flavors of our
"Olde-Fashioned Hand Dipped" Gourmet Brittle Candies
in an assortment of sizes and packages. In addition
to retail sales our candy is also used for Corporate
Gift Programs and Christmas Gift Giving.
Over the past few years we've
also developed an equally delicious Gourmet Cookie
Dough called "Simply Doughlicious". This
"spoon and bake" Cookie Dough is available in ten
different flavors and is offered to Fund Raising
Groups interested in selling a very high quality
item that provides value to the customer and
outstanding profits for the
Fund
Raisers.
Since our beginning as a small
family business in 1988 when the four of us did
everything ourselves-measuring ingredients, stirring
the candy in small pots over a few gas burners,
waiting until it was just right and carefully
dipping the candy with spoons into small pans,
sealing it in bags and then delivering it from our
cars to local grocery stores, brittle-brittle, inc.
has naturally gone through quite a few changes. But
one thing that won't change is our commitment to
you, from a father and his three sons, that the way
we make brittle-brittle products-by hand, in small
batches to guarantee a quality "Olde-Fashioned"
taste-will never change!
